  • 3 2/3 cups of all purpose-flour (refined flour made up by removing the brown-covering)

Thick and rich home-made sauce

  • Tomatoes of any variety. Cherry, Roma, or celebrity tomatoes go well with pizza sauce. Have the amount as per your preference.
  • Oregano, salt, pepper, rosemary. Again, you can have them as per your preference.
  • 1/2 cup warm water. You can add if you need more while making it.

Double the fun with toppings

  • Sandwich 1/4 cup cannabis cooking oil on the top of the sauce and then put a layer of cheese.
  • Mozzarella or Feta cheese. You can have any other variants too! Depends on your preference.

Your wait is over. Here’s the step by step instruction to making a family-friendly weed pizza

#Step 1: Making the Dough

Pour warm water in the mixing bowl and add sugar and yeast to it. Allow the mixture to sit for 15 minutes.

*We use yeast as a leavening agent which fluff-up the pizza dough. We’d want our pizza dough to rise-up quickly. Yeast forces air and bubble in the pizza, making it bubbly and chewy.*

Add cannabis-infused oil and salt in the solution and stir till it blends well.

* We’re using cannabis oil instead of CBD toppings because it will give a consistent texture across the pizza servings.*

Put on 2.5 cups of the all-purpose flour in the cannabis-infused oil mixture and whisk it properly.

* We’re using all-purpose flour because it gives a softer crust. For a crispier tone, go for bread flour. All-purpose flour is a good fit for its less-gluten content as we are crafting a healthy pizza dough.*

Knead the remaining flour on a flatter and clean surface until the dough shape is ready and doesn’t feel sticky.

*Kneading is an essential process of rolling your flour, which makes dough light, airy, and chewy. Press the dough away with the heel of your palm, and pull it over the back with your fingers.*

Place dough into the oil bowl we made. Cover the top with a cloth. Allow the kneaded dough to rise double its size. The process will take upto 45 to 60 minutes. Once you allow it to fluff up— punch it and create a tight ball. Leave it as it is for a minute and then roll it out into the pizza base.

*We use proving cloth to cover the bowl as it protects the dough from drying out. It also keeps the dust at bay. Keep your dough bowl in a lukewarm temperature. Excessive heat can trigger a faster action from yeast, and cold surrounding will slow the rising-up process.*

#Step 2: Making the Sauce

Chop-off the tomatoes and place them on the frying pan. Sprinkle pepper, salt, oregano, and rosemary over the tomato. Pour half cup of warm water.

*Use everything in proportion. Don’t overdo with salt and oregano. Keep it simple and edible.*

#Step 3: Topping the Pizza

Pour 1/4 cup of the cannabis-infused oil in the sauce and stir it properly.

Spread the sauce on pizza dough.

*Apply approximately Âľ cup of sauce on one pizza dough. Spreading the sauce will call for a little finesse. Look for sauce consistency across the dough and ensure that it doesn’t get soggy.*



Drizzle a bit of cannabis cooking-oil on the sauce and then add your favorite cheese on it. Pick any of your preferred toppings. And our unbaked pizza is ready.

#Step 4: Baking the Pizza

Preheat the oven to 400 F (205 C) – 500 degrees F (260 C).

*If you are building a large and thick-crusted pizza— you might have to limit the temperature close to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Keep the heat high enough to cook the crust altogether, and not good enough to burn the toppings.*

Bake your “can’t wait to chomp” pizza in the preheated oven until the crust turns brown and cheese turns golden. It would hardly take 10-15 minutes.

*Overheating will scald-up the pizza stone too much. This may burn your pizza crust before the heat reaches topping. So, stick to the temperature and timings.*
