    • Potent diuretics are prescribed drugs which can prove fatal if taken beyond the unconstrained level— especially if you are pregnant or diabetic.
      • Confer with your doctor before resorting to any of it.
  • Use urine cleansers such as herbal tea or activated charcoal for detoxifying the level of THC in the body. Lecithin, the lethal food emulsifier also breaks down THC leading to quicker digestion. [2] Of course, they aren’t useful for a short notice urine test. Perhaps, they can work well with 1 to 2 weeks of test notice.
    • These drug screens don’t have guaranteed-credibility as different respondents have reviewed different effects. While some take massive joy in labeling them effective, others put all the onus on heavy water intake for detoxification.
      • Get yourself tested by your family doctor even before they check you and see what method works best for you.

4.2 Hair follicle test and beating it.

Hair follicle test is the most-menacing test which is highly effective, and the tester can use the sample from any part of the body— be it scalp, armpit, pubic region, skin area, etc.

You are likely to test positive in hair follicle test:

  1. For 1 to 12 weeks if you are an occasional weed-consumer.
  2. For 1 to 12 weeks if you are a regular-pothead.

4.2.1 Getting better of Hair Follicle Test

Since it’s an expensive testing method, your employer may not use it.

Having said that, if you get handed the test-notice, you can try out these methods to beat the test.

  • If you are running short of time or if you couldn’t detoxify your blood, you can put detoxification shampoos such as Neutrogena® or Rave® which are specially made for breaking down and removing the metabolites. They also help in getting rid of older layers of oil by penetrating the hair shaft and removing THC and other cannabinoids.
    • It isn’t as effective in a short notice period. The process ideally suits when you practice it for at least 7 to 10 days.
      • For a shorter notice window, washout your hair for 3-4 times a day and let the shampoo chemical seep in for at least 3 to 4 minutes per washout session followed by a deep scalp massage.
  • Shave your entire body before showing up in the clinic. The easiest way to beat hair testing is by not providing the hair sample at all.

  3. For 24 hours, even if you are a rigorous user.

4.4.1 Getting better of Saliva Test

Similar to the blood test, Saliva test has a short timeframe.

Hence, it’s mostly out of use.

However, if you can control the testing decision, emphasize on saliva testing because THC usually washes off within a day from saliva.

Based on the test-notice, you can deploy these strategies to beat the saliva test.

  • Begin with giving a stern wash to your mouth. If you have controlled the toxin intake, brushing your teeth twice or thrice in a day can help you skip the clinical disaster.
    • It works best when you aren’t a frequent smoker or oral marijuana user. Consuming it thrice or four times a week may not guarantee the best result.
      • You can dilute the level of THC in your gum line and sublingual area by introducing mint mouthwash and gargling or rinsing it out.
  • If you are forced to give the saliva test in the next 2-3 hours and you have no access to your brush and paste, introduce the fatty meal to the area below the tongue and gum line (that’s where THC flickers the most).
