You can simply make weed tea and it can be made in large batches if you’d like to have a tea party with your friends.

It is important to know that when people talk about how to make cannabis stem tea, they’re usually talking about a tea made from the cannabis plant’s stem.

Weed stem tea is made by decarboxylating the stem and infusing them with water in the same way as any other herbal tea is made.

The strong, bitter flavor of the stem is sometimes reduced by brewing it with other herbs. It’s also worth noting that unless you utilize a binding agent, your cannabis stem tea will be ineffective.

Because cannabinoids aren’t water-soluble, you’ll need a fatty or alcoholic beverage basis to help the THC stick. Since we’re talking about tea, some form of milk is the best option.

Coconut milk is a high-fat substitute for milk that can be used as well as dairy milk.

  3. Add Stems to the Boiling Water

Add your stems and as per the required quantity to the boiling water and stir well and keep the leftover stems aside. For the next 10-15 minutes, keep stirring frequently.

  4.  Remove From Heat

After stirring the stem in boiling water for about 10-15 minutes, remove the pot from the heat and set it aside to cool.

If you didn’t add any fat to the boiling water, now is the time to do so. Three tablespoons should suffice. You can use vodka, rum, or any other alcohol you have on hand that you think would be a suitable match.

  5. Strain the Content

Place a cheesecloth, paper towel, or coffee filter over the cup or saucepan into which the contents will be poured.

Does Weed Stem Tea Get You High?

Does Weed Stem Get You High?Yes, in theory. The jury is still out on how much THC stems have contained. Researchers have discovered trace amounts of CBD and THC in weed stems. This is significant because hemp often contains less THC than other cannabis cultivars.

Regardless, the stem does contain trace levels of THC. Attempts to brew cannabis stem tea will not be in vain, even if the result is simply a more peaceful evening than usual.

You Can’t Get High From The Tea Without a Binding Agent

There are a few things to consider when it comes to stem tea potency.

If some trichomes remained on the cannabis stems when the tea was brewed, the THC content would be higher.

You can be guaranteed that your stem tea will have no impact if you do not use a binding agent. Binding agents are essential.

THC is not water-soluble and requires something to bind to be activated.

Cannabis stem tea can be made with or without alcohol as a binding agent, as well as with any source of fat such as milk, butter, or coconut oil.
